Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I've decided to go through all of the main Zelda games for some reason. I beat the first one last weekend then started this one, and just picked it back up for this weekend. It's my first time fully going through it. I usually play it up until I beat the first palace, and then just quit, but this time I'm already at the maze palace. Every complaint I have towards the game ultimately boils down into me being a little bitch and wishing the enemies dropped life like they do in just about every other Zelda game and I don't like the lives system in this game. I also just do not care for how spells are needed for many things, yet magic drops aren't consistent, so you are forced to have some just in case you need to jump, have some defenses, or shoot fireballs with the only way to heal yourself is with a large amount of magic.

pretty nostalgic as of late. I'm remembering times where I had fun and could lose myself in worlds and emotions, good metal, good games, waifus, and such. I stopped all that shit because I became more self aware of how autistic it all was, thanks in no small part to the internet, and although it made me a more socially functional human being, it sort of deadened my emotions to the point I couldn't feel as much anymore. I'm trying damn hard to bring them back, because maybe then I'll feel alive again. Doesn't help that I quit opiates about 8 days ago and withdrawal has been VERY fierce, though the physical part is mostly gone by now, the mental part remains, and I'm getting cravings every once in a while. I'm hopeful my mood will improve soon and I can start practicing guitar again and finally sticking to a good calisthenics routine, I've been having suicidal thoughts lately and they've been very intense.
