Is there any way to invert camera controls? It's unplayable with the default flightsim controls.

If its hard it hasn't clicked how you're supposed to play it yet, its just 3D Connect the Dots after a point. Still fun after you figure that out though, so is Nightshade.

How did you not have initial trouble with the dogs, final level, boss, etc?

Also I played this game on an OG PS3 using a 3rd party controller and I think that's why I had a harder time with this game.

I don't remember the game being hard (although i didn't play for long, might revisit if i am desperate for some ninja action) rather the game isn't fun compared to something like Ninja Gaiden or something out there like Shadow Tactics or a specific character in Samurai Shodown

I never really used the camera controls aside from the button that centers the camera behind you.

It's one of my favorite ninja games, having not being able to play any of the 3d Ninja Gaidens.

I think the game was pretty much issue free even with upscaling, so if it runs well for you there's no real need to touch anything

I played it and Nightshade as they came out, so I don't really remember details, I just remember having trouble on some spider boss until I figured out that comboing the entire room and then ending with hitting it fucking murdered it and turned it into a joke. Then I started over and applied that to the entire game and only died like once afterwards. When Nightshade came out, I finished it the same day because its basically more of the same. I'm sure there's YouTube videos of bosses being deleted after a combo, just copy that and do it for the whole game, its how it is designed to be played.

Shinobi X on the Saturn was tits and not nearly enough anons have played it.

The problem with your deduction is that one of the first bosses is a helicopter with such a low health pool it's basically a miniboss and gives you no intuitive indicator of how you're supposed to do it properly. Aomizuchi (or was it Moritsune?), the second boss, has a pretty specific point in his moveset where he's is extremely vulnerable to those scroll things I forgot was called so within 5 seconds of the match you've jumped behind him, combod him mid-air, and ended it with a fiery area blast for an A rank before ever figuring out that you should be comboing the enemies first. Overall not very intuitive that it takes at least 4 bosses before you hit any real wall with the boss fights when doing it improperly.

You see this is bullshit, the spider boss can be defeated by not comboing enemies there is no indication whatsoever that you can't you just assume you have to get a perfect pattern for a god awful long time and I'd gotten close enough to do it to attest to that. The only thing that changed from all the other bosses before that is the HP pool and damage reduction of normal attacks. That's it. It's only from happenstance that I ever realized how much bosses drop like bitches to building yourself up with a combo.
