The Piss4 only has 6 games on the console worth playing, meanwhile the Xbone only has one measly title. Neither of the consoles have anything else that isn't already on PC, PS3, Vita, Wii U, 3DS, 360, Wii, PSP, PS2, GC, original Xbox, Dreamcast, etc..

ps4 is only good for ps3 remasters and bloodborne, which will be 60fps remastered for the ps5, which you should also not buy because the ps5 pro and ps5 ultra models are coming out afterwards. If the next xbox is backwards compat. with their catalogue and not cucked thru censorship, that will be the console to get if they had any games worth playing. Anyways, good luck and enjoy.

Xbone is not horrible, but if you don't have some old titles to pad the library it's gonna feel empty as fuck or you're going to have like 4 games installed that eat up the entire hard drive

I want to be able to play with my roommates and friends, it sucks being left out, their pretty normal and mostly play GTA5 online, Fortnite, and Fifa. I hate sport games and not too sure if I'd enjoy Fortnite, some own XBOX1's and others PS4

it's also kind of embarrassing at Uni when people talk about vidya and you can't join in because you still use the last gen

I would only reccomend a 3DS, Vita, out of anything in the 8th generation. Sure, those consoles are already dead, but the home consoles are all faggotry, and if you have any taste its on PC. Vita and 3DS have a different enough mode of play and design difference where the games are made differently. SMT4 is pretty ebin, and for the Vita I would reccomend Gravity Rush. These aren't my absolute favorite games for the two, but they're fun, and you can't say that about most of the libraries of the 8th generation. The two also have a lot of homebrew shit so you don't have to pay for vidya. The WiiU might be worth it if you want to play MKWii online or use its expansive homebrew capabilities.

If that's all they play, then all you really need is just a Dreamcast, a copy of Quake 3, SWS 2000, and GTA2. Considering that you already have a PS3, your options are a bit more varied.

That's your first mistake, OP. First of all, get over it and stop being such a limp faggot. No one actually cares. Second, people care a lot more about they have to say rather than you have to offer. Just keep quiet, listen to them, and keep asking them questions, and they'll think you're their best friend. And, after a while, you'll figure out if these are really the kinds of people you want to be around. And, if they really ever want to hear your take, and they really are your friends, they wouldn't care about what shit you own and what games you play.

I'm literally paid to shill Xbox but the PS4 is your best bet if you want to play the greatest number of games from the current generation. If that is your focus no other console can really compete with that. Sony has it on lock.

However, Xbox does have a sizeable backward compatibility library, with physical copies of 360 games at chain stores going for around $3 a piece, and even the S model supports UHD blu ray. It also has the best controller.

As far as "being obsolete" I don't see why this matters. My PS2 still gets tons of play. Currently playing From Software's Echo Night Beyond and the shmup Castle Shikigami 2. The PSP and PS3 still have their online stores open so you can redownload your purchases. I am implying that somebody didn't hack their PSP.

So no one has really lost anything yet. I'd say its safe to buy whatever you choose.

You'd have to be a fucking idiot to pick up a console on release date, always get them when they're at the end of their life because you will already know which games are worth getting and which console revision is less prone to shit the bed, i got a brand new 360 and PS3 for $80 each and their best games were worth less than $5, with a few exceptions, and i'm planning to pick up a soystation 4 once it drops to $100.

these systems are now getting cheap. i say go for it but don't expect much next year when the ps5 and xbox 720 come out
