<What a godsend. I can adjust the speed of the game as I play it because it patches the active memory, live. Sekiro should've had this built in, Celeste-style, or as part of Hanbei's training set. Sekiro doesn't give much opportunity for in-depth, focused practice to the player. To learn a boss requires throwing yourself at it time and time again, which works eventually. I have patience. I wouldn't have reached the end of the game without it. But to stretch it out like this?

And when a board bans a general or doesn't make an alternative board like 4chan did for specific generals, it's not because it's in the interest of the board's rules, but rather in the interest of the board owner's politics.
Censorship is a huge deal in anime, hentai all of that, it's one of the biggest subjects since the western fanbase AND the eastern fanbase both have to deal with it, and both suffer for it. The entire game is based around American/Japanese relations after WW2, but it's heavily inspired by the war on terror after 9/11. All airplanes were destroyed, the Internet is gone, and the only way to travel across the ocean is by trans-continental roads. The enemies, Heaven Smiles, are terrorists that exist only to strike fear, with no real goal to them. The main villain, Kun Lan, is Chinese, and the main characters master, Harman Smith, is Jewish. No one wants to show how powerful they are, so they give bits and pieces of their power to different groups to test it. Andrei Ulmeyda ran a huge corporation that cured people using his blood, which he infected himself with many different diseases, only to turn out he lived in a trailer behind a giant cardboard HQ building. The final chapter even describes how the elections are decided by the board of education, both via indoctrination and by having so many schools be used on election day. The ending is something of a repeat of the beginning, where Harman and Kun discuss how small the world is now. and 'the world doesn't change; all it does is turn.' Not to mention they're always playing chess, and they consider each other friends, at that. They fight each other for control and that's it.
There's a lot more detail, but that's the gist of it. As a bonus, the best scene in the game.
