I like madness and that flash game is rad but be aware, there's a guardian that will fuck up your thread for being only one sentence.

That being said the guy would have all the reason to do it, we can speculate about a bunch of games that have been released in this age and think how things would have changed.

On a console? Not really that popular. Now on a PC, where 2d scrollers were mostly the one trend Apogee popularized, I think it would have been well recieved.

Does anyone remember the name of that 2d sidescroller that was set in a medieval fantasy, it was a tournament and you had a melee weapon as well as a bow and arrow and you could either unlock or buy a wide variety of neat looking(at least for 2d flash game sprites) armors?
