I Spent a month putting 214 hours into Yakuza 0, I'v also played some of Kiwami 1, but I actually just got a copy of Yakuza 3 today and i'm currently playing that since I already beat the PS2 versions of Yakuza 1 and 2.
Played some Spider-Man Web of Shadow, and X-men Origins Wolverine for the first time in quite a while
Played and 100% Sonic Forces, Not a great Sonic game, but i'v played worse games.
I S ranked every level in Devil May Cry 2 and made a simply costume mod for it this year since I actually like the game despite it's flaws.
I co-op my way though Kain and Lynch 2 with my friend just for the hell of it and dear god is that game hilariously shit
My friend got me to Played Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and the Christmas event which changed you into Toy Army Men was pretty damn fun
Played the shit out of Shadow the Hedgehog since it's the greatest game ever made

I emulate classics on my computer but it lags because my pos can barely handle flash games, and I play mobile games (have/had about a dozen in the last six months). I play once every 2-3 days anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours. For a week that can be about 45 minutes to 8 hours, a month about 3 hours to 32 hours, a year about 36 hours to 384 hours. Played Odyssey today. It was ok. I'm ready to be screencapped and put in a cringe compilation.

Excellent music, atmosphere. Heretic I think I liked more than Doom, mainly because of the wonderful art direction, magical weapons, no hitscanners, and enemies being deadly as well as going doing quickly instead of having filler enemies like Cacodemons, Barons or Lost Souls that feel like they stop the gameplay to a dead halt until you chuck the required 4 rockets at them. I liked how starting with E3 just about every big fight felt like a slaughter.wad, while also retaining just enough actual level design to not make me drop it. I never know how to explain idtech level design, there's always this chaotic logic to them that never have you get lost during gameplay whilst being somewhat illogical upon reflection.
Hexen was hard to like, considering I didn't play Cleric or Mage and I didn't get past E1M2 in the expansion pack, but it was really fun with the Fighter inspite of complete bullshit like the wendigos and slaughtertaurs and a few puzzles.

The PC port actually works on my toaster, but the pirated version I have doesn't allow for a certain fix to a certain fuckup by a certain NIGGERSA. M8, we're in March and I've got a full time job, no way I'm going through 6 games in 3 months. Times aren't what they used to be and the time I can dedicate to vidya has been extremely decreased. Still, I finally started playing Metro 2033, I beat Witcher 2 in January and went through Bayonetta again since a friend of mine can lend me his WiiU for the second chapter.
Other than that I'm playing a bit of Magic Arena and Apex from time to time with friends. I've also recently bought Rocket League. These aren't games you can beat, but I mostly just play them with friends.

Get the PS3. I got a superslim almost exactly a year ago and it was a great investment. Besides MGS4, I got Ni No Kuni, Katamari Forever, Nier, and Demon's Souls. Even if these games can be played on RPCS3, my computer doesn't have 4 billion cores and upgrading to do so will cost way more than a used PS3 + games. I've only clocked 10 hours in it so far but it seems pretty good. The presentation, cutscenes and graphics in general look great, the soundtrack is really nice, the battle system is pretty much what you would expect. The voice acting, well it's really good but the heavy British accent is going to turn off a lot of people, it does have a lot of charm though. It also makes the game even more western than Dragon Quest usually is but I don't have a problem with that. Story seems pretty standard so far, it's the usual "omg you're the chosen one" except this time it's basically "omg you're Jesus Christ!" which I'm fine with. I'd say give it a try if you like happy colorful games and Dragon Quest.

Excellent first act, extremely mixed feelings on the second and third act. Gameplay with harder monsters is a great example of challenge done right. You're probably going to want to bring several very long playlists of your own music because DQ music, orchestrated or not will drive you nuts if you listen to it for that long. That's my theory at least, I didn't put up with it for more than a few hours.

A friend got it in the Humble Bundle and gifted it to me since he knew that Vicky 2 is one of my favourite games of all time and, well it already started out pretty bad when I picked humans and the representative was a strong black woman but it only got worse afterwards. The UI is fucking awful, it doesn't feel like a /gsg/ but more like a 4X game, the graphics made me think that I was playing a mobile game, the way the game handles population is so simple it hurts and it has a mana system. You should pirate it to form your own opinion because listening to strangers on the internet is dumb but I really didn't like it.

I try to stay away from the hype as much as possible and only check pirate releases regularly and read the description.
That's the only way IMHO to get a decent opinion of a game, you play it and you see if you like it or not.
As such I play a lot of games and a lot of them aren't good (last 6 is like the fucking best streak in maybe a decade, and Metro is "meh" while Kiwami and REmake 2 are, well, remakes. And R6 is victim of the TF2 syndrome but the core is still good, I wish for a vanilla mode).

I actually think the monolith mordor games are better than assassins creed. They just do what assassins creed already does but better. You just get the whole experience without the annoying walking sim moments/annoying endless cutscenes/stupid bullshit etc.

Ubisoft would never do it but I wish siege was just an open source game with dev tools. TBH Their game modes suck. Hostage is broken, with the new ops that are in the game the meta for secure area is basically "Stay alive", Bomb is ok but casual sucks and the only game mode that's good is ranked but you are kind of forced to try real hard in ranked because you got 4 other guys on your team who think their MMR is their life. You are simply not allowed to have fun in siege. It's either a fucking job or it's a joke(casual).

I beat Dark Souls III for the first time recently (strength Pyromancer with Heavy Greatsword). Early-mid game is really shit, pretty linear and rarely opens up. It gets kinda better after you clear Anor Londo and you have the choice between the DLC areas and Lothric Castle. Sorta like a reverse case of Dark Souls' late game with the lordvessel areas.
The Ringed City was fucking fantastic. Gael was probably the best boss fight in any game I played, and I'm glad I saved him for last.

All you have to do is Activate you living weapon when he breaks his chains and kill him. if you're worried that it's cheesing, don't be because he becomes a repeat optional boss/midboss later on and he'll deal too much damage for that to be a consistent tactic on a first-time playthrough.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Finally got around to finishing it after burning out on it about a month after release. The amount of fap material in that game is mind-boggling.
Tangledeep fun enough roguelike. Definitely doesn't have the variety or interactivity of the old guard, but it definitely nails that 16bit aesthetic and feel. Feels more like a Shiren game than Nethack.
Wargroove. I was told it was just as good as Advance Wars. I was told lies.
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight Haven't gotten too far into it yet but it's great fucking fun so far.
Vagrant Story Went back and played an old favourite. I forgot how fucking tedious it could be. Those menus and the weapon switching, dear fucking god.
Everspace. It's fun, but it got old quick. I want a game very similar, but not a rogue-like, something where I can just explore and trade and bounty hunt at my leisure, but in a more arcadey feel with a controller instead of trying to play Elite and instead browsing for HOTAS setups because mouse and keyboard just doesn't feel right.
Today I played some Witcher 3. I forgot how fucking frustrating it is to have combat with random attack animations that involve doing spins and cartwheels for windups instead of just fucking hitting the damned monster. Fucking eurojank, I swear.

I played some Mario 3 today. I'm at World 5 now.
Mario Maker 2 is great, I'll buy whatever Grasshopper makes, Knuckle Sandwich looks pretty good, AI: The Somnium Files might be great, I'm giving Pokemon my last chance this year, Astral Chain might be good, Tookyo games is interesting, and I've got a massive backlog. I've also been watching Game Center CX and working on my own Visual Novel. Vidya is great!

I have a hard time finding new-ish games or older ones for that matter were it has some gud tactical/strategical features. I want to finish playing Spellcross and UFO Alien Invasion first before I move on to other game. Playing modded doom with (((graf doom))) or skullshit feels very stale to me right now,
OpenApoc is still not in version 1.0 stage which I would like to play it first, I really want to make use of at least the tracked vehicle which could prove as useful but because the original game was quite unfinished it also meant there is a lot of bugs left open and cut features, for the tracked vehicle it gets destroyed as soon the road under it blows and it does not have all terrain capabilities, it is not a hovercar which is bound to a anti-gravity roads this game has.
