You can read CDs on an emulator too, but anything above a DVD will get you the same monster. You can also read ISOs, they work the same as CDs.

The DS games made you draw shit or yell into the mic to create stuff, it worked out pretty fine. So letting people doodle again is the only option since there is no cameras on modern systems so they can use the qr code gimmick like other devs did on the 3ds.

I think that unfortunate it will be mobile garbage but a part of me is hoping that if not a sequel then the anime will get a remake. And this time they will work out more on stuff like Genki's backstory and actually the world itself.
I mean it is hinted though the game that Genki never actually traveled to another world; in fact he had traveled to the fucking future! And if the anime have talked about it the plot would get quite complex and amazing.
The relationship between characters could get more into depth too. Specially Tiger and Holly; I could swear they were going to make them into a couple or something given how aside from Suezo whom was like her older brother and Genki whom was like her younger brother Tiger was the only one whom seem to like her in a different way.
Besides many monsters that were made only after the anime ended would look freaking awesome in 2D…assuming they bother to go 2D and don't use the shitty 3D that for ex Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On used and made the monsters look fucking generic and awful.

That depends of what you're expecting from it.
The anime itself is like one of the best seasons of digimon if that give you some idea what to expect. And if that's reason enough for you to watch it then do yourself a favor and watch the subbed version. It's better that the dub in every way.
For example it's not fucking censored; you wondered how Tiger got that scar? Guess what the original japanese version actually shows it.
That being said while I like the anime I can't pretend the third season is even close of being as good as season 1 and 2. It was clear they thought anime was going to end in season 2 and even so they probably had to rush to end it. The reasons for that and more are spoilerish so if you wanna discuss about it just make a thread about that anime in /a/ and I would be happy to. I like to discuss about anime like that heh.
