I found this private server and thought we could play together and have fun like old times.

>custom maps

>some weapon went through some changes for the sake of ""balance"", nothing really game-breaking

However, Chaser mode isn't really working well. That, and you'll have to suffer through the mainstream rooms of ST-2 sword only most of the time, even if there are often people trying to create other rooms. But they are in the minority, unfortunately. I've been trying to play and get good at the game again, but it's a little hard.

While it's good to have new custom stuff for S4, the overall playerbase of the game is mentally incapable of appreciating these little things. Fuck, there are shitheads who responded to the news of panamaman's death with 'Who was that guy? Never heard of him, when's the new patch coming?'.

What this server needs the most right now is people who play shit other than Station-2 swords only and the usual SMG-Melee/Handgun-Revolver-+30HP setup and people who recognize original style of the game. Otherwise what's the point of playing here when you can just go back to official?

I don't even have nor use discord. I asked some english people in game what was added and the like. Anyways I'm back in game. I tried using the Gauss rifle and the first shot still has pinpoint accuracy, that's nice.

No, i meant the faggots on official disrespected panamaman and kept playing in their shitty locked CPD rooms. Everyone on S4MAX knows and respects him deeply. there's even a monument made for him inside the custom map MAX School. It's available on every mode. Minus the missing textures and invisible lasers it's a fun map to play. You should definitely give it a try.

That's a shame indeed. I remember the old project lead making threads here, but since the leadership was switched those threads died. I tried to spark some interest a few times but since i'm too stupid to make proper webms they died quickly and the mandatory use of dicksword didn't help much. Currently there is no way to get in contact with other players outside of discord because they think it's too bothersome to switch after everything got established there.

Yeah I remember those threads, I would even do it myself but right now the unix launcher script seems fucked and wine 4.2 seems to have regressed in terms of this game since I can't get it to launch.
