Touchscreens aren't that bad as input.
I think the main problems people have are that they have greasy inarticulate sausages for fingers.
Fine movements are done by rolling your fingers not pushing them around.
The real retarded move is that the "cursor" is beneath the finger when it should be offset so you can see whatever the fuck you're doing.
I've only seen a radial menu wheel like 5 times and 2 of them were productivity apps.
I'm not defending touch as an input, there needs to be joysticks.
touchscreen < stylus < (like 20 more <) < gamepad < mouse/keyboard < VR that isn't shit

Adding to this.
Wired or bluetooth controllers retail for < $20.
Why isn't some android company packaging a cheap $2 to manufacture form-fit usb joystick and triggers for their phone?
Then they could anonymously market a bunch of emus on (((MSM))).
It wouldn't have to be a nintendo switch killer for the increased sales to be worthwhile.
It's like they are waiting for the top 10 phone game companies to beg for joysticks through the tip of their dicks.
Mobile is an untapped market.
Whales are completely irrelevant.
Baiting the 0.1% of the population who only on average spend $100 a month is a joke compared to the 100% of the population who would spend $60 on a good game.
The player base just falls in their lap and they don't know what to do with it.
There's 2.5 billion smart phone owners.
2.4 billion people own a gaming console yet haven't bought a game for it.
