It's weird, I'm not a fan of the proc gen indie genre or card games in general but there was something really fun about the game. I think it's how you can be dealt things you did not particularly seek out and end up going with a playstyle you never even knew existed and was viable, I really like that kind of thing and unfortunately not many roguelites fulfill that.

Let me put it this way:
Return of the Obra Dinn was the first time I've ever played a 10 hour game with absolutely zero replay value and said "yes, this was definitely worth $20". It is a brilliant example of unconventional storytelling, interesting puzzle design, and making more out of less. Graphics are a bit eye-straining but if you can get past that, it's really good, especially if you want some renewed faith that even in the modern age, people can still come up with a new, completely original way to tell a story and engage an audience.
