Story time. If you think the current crop of speedrunners is nuts, they don't have much on the old Quake community. It's a tough game to speedrun so the majority were single segments strung together, especially on Nightmare! difficulty, and generally were collaborations from multiple top runners. Adding to that though, since the medium was demos that had to be played back in the Quake engine and not straight videos, it also allowed for some ridiculous levels of post-production, such as playback menus and re-cams, and bad voice acting. Scourge Done Slick even went as far as to introduce a story to it.
Anyway first two are levels from SDS with the alt voices (E1M2 and E3M1) and third is a tiny part of a hidden bonus demo in QDQR (actually one guy's work half-way between QDQR and QDQWAV in terms of strats). All these have aged like milk in my view but I used to find them fun.

>note the starting timestamps
>Use ffmpeg to cut both videos based on this, and where the video is intended to end (for this it'd be first video -ss 01:13:44.000 -t <duration> and second video no seek and -t <duration>
This doesn't need the videos side-by-side. You can do it but for this I'd just extract the audio streams and mix them in either Audacity or ffmpeg's "amerge" audio filter.

there was a percent chance at my school where you would have to do a swimming course for PE for like half a semester. I was already a good swimmer because I used to compete until i got tired of coming home smelling like chemicals and peeled skin.
