Yes the weapons are very limited, but they alle have their advantages. You get better cars and weapons by progressing through the story. And if you reload your gun while still having ammo in your clip you throw that ammunition away. I actually dont know any other game that did this.

This game was so good before they turned it into shit. I remember playing Urban Assault and Hospital daily before they completely changed the game. The online community was the best Ive ever seen, nice people all around.

The mandatory game against Kilika is honestly the hardest game until much later on when the (((Al Bhed))) start signing all the best players and assembling a team of pure aces. But yes, the mandatory game is winnable.

The music and overal atmosphere of the first StarCraft will forever be one of my favorite things in videogames. Such a shame they shat on all of that with the second game.

This one defines Saga very well. It's a boss theme for a recurring boss fight with a biological weapon. The primal drums and dark airy synth with the twisted organ fits the game like a glove. Humanity reduced to small village colonies, an empire hollowly staying in power, uncovered ancient technology that threatens the pathetic remains of humanity all held together in a few hopeful characters representing the father, the son and the holy spirit. The percussion beata and echoes like the drums are made of flesh and struck by bone. The whole game is tremendous and the soundtrack is just one part of it all.

Menu music is more iconic than the main theme. It's a testament to how shallow the game had become when they use this music in 2nd and 3rd games as some big nostalgia thing. Really bad how the games music went from some basic electronic music that sounds like they took it from somebodies bandcamp to orchestral pieces in 2/3 which don't really fit.

When I was young my younger brothers and we would play hours of halo games together. We really didn't get along a lot of the time, but when we played halo all of us would have a good time, laughing and yelling about kills when we played slayer. Sitting quietly walking around New Mombasa enjoying the music. Not talking, just exploring the world. Looking back, the city was not fleshed out, the campaign was short - even if you were autistic about finding everything it would take you less then 3 or 4 hours. But, playing it together, swapping remotes on deaths (their were three of us) stalking through the city apprehensive of what enemies might be around the corner, listening to the best halo sound track are some of my fondest memories with them.
