JC4, worth it? How does it compare to other JC games?
JC2 is one of my favorite games. I didn't play much of the story because I generally don't like playing the main story in games. I liked that you could travel around and destroy stuff, do stunts with bikes, and run from the militia.
JC3 screwed a bunch of stuff up, but it was still fun to complete the map for the first time. It took a long time to load up, load later on, it lagged during action sequences, and crashed. From a gameplay perspective, the wingsuit was a good addition, but having to do boring challenges for upgrades was a major downside. The free travel limit and drop limit were pointless nuisances as well. After I beat JC3, I just went back to JC2.
I saw that JC4 has new mechanics, like balloons, and extreme weather conditions. But I'm skeptical of it. Game companies keep screwing stuff up.
