I was looking for a budget controller, this one seemed fine

http://redragonusa.com/products/combos/G808%20-%20Harrow/107

However, it seems to have a pretty big deadzone. Xbox 360 controllers are around the same price, can someone test if the deadzones on that one are also this big? I can't videos about this on Jewtube.

Also, general controllers/peripherals thread.

Can you test the deadzones on the F310?

I'd also like to know how the Xbox360 one compares since it's around the same price.

I can't seem to find the Wii one in my country

I have a very biased view of controllers, maybe because I have been lucky or something, but here goes:

I buy the shittiest and cheapest controllers, take them apart and fix them.

Thrust gtx39 wireless from 2012 has been the best shit (under 20€). I had to completely clean and repack the insides two times but now it's my favorite. It still works perfectly today. If you don't like taking electronics apart and fixing them, just buy a brand one.

It works like this to me: 60€ controller is good quality and can work for about 1000h of use, no problem. Shit controller costs 20€ needs a few tweaks and holds for 5000h, but you need to open it quite a few times to tune it.

If you want a budget controller you can't go wrong with the 360's, i bought mine in a special amazon sale for $30 six years ago and it still works, the dpad is dogshit yes, but it works fine for everything else, being wired means you don't have to charge it and it's plug and play, the rumble is also a lot stronger than the DS3, DS4 and even the wireless 360 controller for some reason.

I've also heard good things about the wired PS4 controller, namely how good the dpad is, but i haven't found a cheap one to test if it's true, they sell them full price ($65) in my shitty third world country.

Most arcade sticks are very similar, nothing has changed in the past years other than I think it was seimetsu changing their microswitches just very 'recently' and no one has reported any side effects, very few innovations like the rubber grommet sticks (not a new thing), optical sticks for 'silent' opreations, etc.

Recently bought a red xbox one controller. It's a okay one but I don't wanna spend that much on a controller again. Got that one for $35, which was still a pain in the ass to pay. If I remember correctly I paid $29 for my xbox 360 controller back in the days? The new ones are barely better but cost a lot more.

>How's the deadzone for that one?

They're literally 13€ on Aliexpress and other Chinkshit sites. They're so cheap you might as well get one for the fun of it.

What I read on some Jewtube comments:

>Go on amazon and find reviews. I believe I posted a video. Aiming on analogs sticks to X&Y axis making it harder to aim diagonally, deadzone is larger than dualshock 4 and the max input is decreased (25% of the end stick travel is unused, compressing all input into a smaller area = higher sensitivity) Factor in the fact that these use mini analog sticks (smaller rim size = analog caps don't fit) and circumference that results in even smaller travel length, you get controllers that aren't controllable.
