This cuts straight to the heart of why I'm so bothered by it. On top of a general dislike of censorship, with both Valve and Sony, their boundaries have been fuzzy and full of double-standards (intentionally I believe) making it hard to know what exactly is OK to put on there, and so setting a lowest common denominator of sorts in what people are wanting to try, because if it's declined that's more work to fix it. It wouldn't matter so much if the options of distribution platforms were diverse but the situation is 95% is controlled by a handful of consoles, Steam, a couple of "blackjack and hookers" platforms from specific devs. If you're not on there you might as well not exist.
