my guess is it's because the games are made for much younger audiences (much like phase 2 heisei) where as Amazons was more of a love letter to showa and phase 1 heisei and definitely directed more towards adults. I figure they probably don't want little kids to go looking for Amazons and have their view on the series skewed and be scared off.

If I had to guess, season 1/2 of the show got an official release, so most subbers probably don't wanna use the time on something that might be done officially, and then have to take it down.

OCZ pulled their downloads for season 1/2 for example.

I've heard that game is rough on PS3's. Sucks that it screwed yours up. It also sucks it's one of the better games but has Ghost as the main character.

A lot of good things were wasted on Ghost though.

Kamen Rider Kabuto for a drama, Kamen Rider Fourze for a comedy, Kamen Rider Black for Fist of the North Star shit, Kamen Rider Kuuga for an actually pretty good police drama, Kamen Rider Drive for an actual good modern age Kamen Rider monster of the week.

Pick one, love it or hate it, good starting points. All of them are self-contained, mostly. Older doesn't necessarily mean better with Kamen Rider, keep that in mind.

What I've seen all the way through:

Fourze > Amazon season 1 > Ex-aid = Daburu

Fourze was my favorite, funniest and it had the best choreography, but it was also the first I saw so I might be biased. I liked all of them though.

Double and especially ex-aid both felt like they kinda dropped the ball at times. I know ex-aid supposedly got a "real ending" movie but I haven't seen it.

Double's movie was really good though, a lot more compelling than Fourze's.

That’s the best way to watch the series, but be warned, Kuuga is EXTEMELY formulaic and can get pretty boring. The ending is also pretty hit or miss and it just references most of the things you’d actually want to see. Still, there was no better feeling than going to Agito right after it and seeing just how crazy good they made everything.

Also, be prepared for just about every ending to feel either rushed or half baked. None of them are bad enough to ruin the series, but they definitely either leave you wanting more or a bit unfulfilled, still the ride to the destination makes it worth it.

I’d say the issue is that it drags out the formula into 2 episodes that play out the exact same each time.

Kuuga sees new monster, fights it, loses, then in the next episode he gets a new form and beats it. this was fixed in every show that followed.

Also, Decade is a fun but very flawed series and it’s mostly just there for a trip down memory lane… albeit a heavily edited memory lane. Zi-O has been… interesting so far. It isn’t bad but it definitely isn’t good yet and it seems like they saved a rediculous amount of riders and important plot for the movie.

Hopefully the next phase of rider goes back to a more traditional setup, the considering how well Phase did commercially I highly doubt it will. At least they were nice enough to give us Amazons though.

Also, when you get to Den-O make sure you don’t write it off after the first episode. Everything feels very juvenile and the main character is very offputting at first, but it is genuinely one of the most feelsy, well written shows of the series.

As formulaic as it was, it wasn't "you lose because plot" shit, the following monsters were genuinely stronger and more ruthless than the previous ones, plus it did felt that Godai grew both in character and power When he unlock the golden kuuga transformations have to be it's peakThat episode when the monster was scared shitless because of Godai is probably the fucking best.

I liked the Juvenile feel of Den-O, Imajins are a god sent gift. The taros being stereotypes of what the youth of japan might want to be was pretty nice.

Eh, production issues fucked the plot, like how Hana becomes Kohana because of the actress issues. It was pretty great, but it could have been better. You can same the same about every fucking Kamen Rider, though, like Kabuto Where all you had to do is set the movie as a prequel and not having the ending of the show being such a fucking shit asspull.
