Some games probably do benefit from having Denuvo, mainly online focused games but the damage it does to your brand, performance issues and more make it not worth using. Kiwami was an inferior version compared to the original (or should I say, the HD release on PS3 which fixed the movement controls). The Majima Everywhere stuff was rather obnoxious since Kiryu couldnt learn new fighting skills without it, alongside of undermining Majima's character to "lmao so random xD". All the mid-bosses and boss characters using their auto-healing abilities during the fights was also the most retarded shit ever.

Yakuza 1 on PS2 is the only game in the series to have an English dub, (at least until Judment comes out, that will have a dub apparently) and honestly I think it's worth experiencing it just for the novelty of how dated and of it's era it is.

aside from the PS2 version, there was an HD pack of Yakuza 1&2 on Wii U and PS3, but it was never translated, but there are guides and such for playing non Translated games in the series.
