The energy cell mechanic and turning rocks into energy cells is a cute mechanic, I might even steal it for one of my own games.

I have that game on CD ROM, used to spend hours fucking with enemy AI live through use of cheatcodes allowing you to select hostile units and access their program. Good times.

Its infuriating. Instead of just finding ways to properly get rid of the spambots they decide to switch over to Discord instead, even on smaller communities that existed long before Discord was made they are switching over to this crap.

Also back to the game I did a few programming mission like I finished the first chapter and did all except for 1 on second chapter. I like the chapter with the treaded tonk the most. It makes me wonder how they could get away with this as a educational game were you literally have to go full 'nam on those pesky bugs. Now I just wonder how to replace the flamethrower sound to something better and adding GOMMUNISM textures for a gud yuri gargarin experience.

Hmm modding this game is a tad easier then I have thought, all that is needed is just a mod folder and replacing the files with the same name and it just werks. I have some trouble finding a gud flamethrower sound mainly because there is a looping bug which continues to play after it stops firing and I have absolutely no idea how to fix it which sucks. Anyway I just need to find a few more sounds then gommunism 0.001 is done :^), also should I provide several variants of the flamethrower sound?

Well anyway I tried my best finding a gud flamethrower sound replacement, here is the first release: https://www45.zippyshare.com/v/NZXyv7pB/file.html

I don't know where the mods folder for windows is but in linux it is in /home/USER/.local/share/colobot/mods also I did some few music and other minor graphical changes nothing too drastic.

I just tried that, it doesn't work when I edit the names found on the help folder so its probably hardcoded or some shit.
