Getting the obvious one out of the way, I really like how it manages to tell you all about the gameplay, the lore and the mood of the game. It feels like it's a classical composition, even - notice how all the demons and the soon-to-be-zombiefied marine have very dynamic feel to them. I wouldn't be surprised to find a golden ration hidden away.

I always liked the boxart for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

It kept things simple. Gold elf & silver wolf, cut diagonally. Plus a wolf logo designed by the guy who makes the Final Fantasy logos.

I don't really understand the Halo Wars one but aight

On that note, I wonder how did the Japs manage to have a more fitting cover for a western game. The western version of HM1 looks like one of those bootleg comic books from the sixties.
