I don't know about the rage move since I haven't really used Motor Psycho much, but you could probably kill him in a couple of regular hits thanks to its power. Problem is can you survive if he hits you. The jumping attack can be hard to dodge and the rolling attack as well. Although he only starts rolling when his health is low enough, so if you kill him quickly, he'll never have the chance to do it. If you have some guardshrooms you could try eating those, but don't eat them outside the boss room, since before you fight Crowley you fight a random enemy or enemies. A couple of screamers or a Reversal Tuber are at least some I've encountered.

Because my first attempts were just railling on newbies and the small amount of cash I got was decent enough for the level I was at.
But from what I remember, I was at floor 20-something with a rank 3 fighter and the cash I could get from TDM went down to near zero:

My favorite game is Age of Empire 3. Hipster /v/ will say 2 is better but I don't really care.
Recently I've also been playing Vermintide 2, ARK: Survival Evolved, and Arma 3.
There are plenty of games, old and new, that have customization and weapons earned as a reward earned through non-skinnerbox systems.
For example in AoE 3 you have these home cities of factions that you can customize as you level up your faction. In Vermintide 2 you gain Cosmetics by completing every mission at different difficulties. No forced randomness.
But anons keep coming back to these stupid skinnerbox games, and it frustrates me to no end.
These threads remind me of those rich Chinese gamers who like mirco-transactions because they purchase over-priced skins to flaunt their wealth.
Except instead of flaunting personal wealth, these threads are just blogs about "how this new +10 sword completely out classes the old +9 sword" or "I had horrible luck today" or "I got a super rare item today"

I've been playing Kingdom Come, Kenshi, Vermintide 2 aswell and some ruskie RTS whose name I can't pronounce. Those are, in my opinion good games. Games that challenge me and give me something particular I'm looking for.
But everyonce in a while, especially after I melt my brain near the end of an 8 hour shift programming crap foor my boss, I get home and I don't want to think. I want to play something that's ridiculously easy to the point a brain-dead vegetable could play it but gives the illusion I'm skilled instead of simply crushing it with superior numbers (gear/equipment + level).
Warframe and Let it Die fit the bill perfectly. They're not games you play, they're games you relax in when you don't feel like playing.
Also, for all the flaws ad grinding this game has, you gotta agree that the artsyle is quite unique.

Yeah, the Emperor is extremely good. Even if you've already got a strong Slash-damage motorcycle, the Emperor's damage types are Blunt and Fire, giving you more versatility.
Also, remember not to take the Emperor's damage rating at face value because the residual fire damage the enemies take after you hit them adds up significantly. This is also great for preventing "Living on the Edge" users from fucking with you.
Pic kind of related, it's the Emperor's R&D screen if you were to get the blueprint for it (which is an extremely rare RNG loot drop and I doubt I'll ever get it).
One very important reminder: DO NOT equip non-R&D weapons or armor to your TDM defense, or they will lose durability and probably break.

The grind isn't too bad in the main game. Regular materials are easy enough to collect, and bosses drop their crafting material ~80% of the time. There are a few boss metals you can't farm anytime, but instead you can buy them once per hour from a "secret" shop, 3 days a week. So there's grind, but fairly consistent and not grinding for 1% drops.
Unfortunately, it does get a little worse in the post game. Mainly, there's no guaranteed way to get the end game boss metals, or super high end materials. You're at the mercy of what the tower randomly gives you. Still, it's not nearly as bad as other games.

Yeah, the hockey stick is great for TDM defense if you've got rage decals to put on your defenders, such as Volcano and/or Flash Boiler. The rage move sends a hockey puck sliding around the whole damn floor, and the rage move can be repeated to have multiple pucks sliding around at the same time for maximum chaos.
Hockey pucks have:
Unpredictable movement
Long duration
Knockdown on hit,
making them a great way to stall a TDM invader. Once a puck is launched, it's too late for strategy. If you go on Raids yourself regularly, you better watch out for these guys. When you see one, your best hope is to to have quick reflexes and rage him before he can rage you, OR zone him with a ranged weapon before he can get close enough to rage you.
All that said, I wouldn't recommend using the hockey stick as a player, 'cause you can hurt yourself with your own rage pucks (unless you have the special decal that makes you immune to it).

the puck can hit you too, knocking you down. the only way to make full use of the hockey stick rage move, is to have the full apocalyptic hockey armor set, and the CENTER FORWARD decal. not only it increases the puck damage but having the full ApoHockey set + Hockey Stick makes the user immune to their own hockey pucks.
those fucking things are so chaotic that they had to make a decal specifically to "guard" against the chaos causing the players to hit themselves.
but then again, the easy way to dodge the pucks is to jump all the time. but then again you cant attack while jumping. so they really are a good thing to have on your defense.

i believe you get targets equal or lower to your grade when it comes to fights. and by grade i mean the highest grade of fighters you have on your freezer.

grade 6 is rank 76-85

First you have to grind a ton of 5star mats. That alone made it a pain on release so no one bothered. At least F40-50 makes that easy. Then to upgrade from that, you need drops from the F40-50 jackals. Then you need the jackal v2 (F51+) metals after that.
