Main gameplay should just be multiplayer, students try to survive among the NPC students while shooter guns them down. Maps are randomly generated using premade templates for rooms so you can have a "new" school every time. For example you'd have 3-5 possible variations on a major room, like a gym or cafeteria, and the game would pick one when it generates a map. That map would be used for a few games, or maybe only once, and then a new map would be generated. Characters would be allowed onto the map in stages, kids first, then after a random amount of time between 1 and 3 minutes, the shooter is let on the map. 5 minutes later and the cops arrive together.
There can also be variant game modes and letting players customize rules. Some shooters can and should have special powers and objectives, and there can be multiple shooters, either cooperating or competing.
A lot of the variant game modes would probably be improved g-mod games, you could do prop hunt or trouble in terrorist town (or another variant of mafia or werewolf, perhaps even one with literal werewolves)
I don't know if you should actually base it too much off of real events, you could make look-alikes and similar settings but probably shouldn't use real names or locations.

That's not really a good idea, firstly it depends on your client and if it's aware of its routing and if it is not it could leak your real IP, secondly the nature of bittorrent would likely cause a tor cuircit to be established for every connection, something which would put a lot of stress on the nodes and slow everyone down.
What you can do is use a hidden service as a private tracker with DHT disabled, that would limit the exposure to bad peers while also protecting the tracker host though you'd still have to care about your personal IP being visible.

Eh, not really. FYI, the compressed TB numbers are basically bullshit unless you are storing nothing but text files. Pictures, games, movies and the like are all compressed and won't benefit, in fact they will likely take up more space due to some metadata overhead. Also, LTO4 is obsolete as fuck and not worth the money. The only people who would pay for what was linked, are people who don't know any better or a business that has lto4 tapes and NEEDS a drive right the fuck now. If you are going to spend money on tape drives, you go LTO6 or higher. There is also often licensing bullshit for newer firmware and compatibility issues between tape drives and the tape library.
You're literally better off with 8x 8TB hard disk drives (~140-160 each on sale for easystore/elements, which you then shuck.) and then use ZFS to put them in a 4x mirrored vdev if you want fantastic read performance and damn good write performance. Coupled with cheap SFP+ 10g fiber hardware and whatever old computer you're not longer using, you basically end up with an 30TB network disk with almost ssd read speeds.
Alternatively, you could also use raidz2-3 configurations for better disk failure redundancy and storage space, at the cost of performance, though generally that's not a huge issue once you hit 6 drives in any configuration tbh.
Raidz1 should only be used for backups, though raidz2 is far preferred.

All their "investigation" did was doxxing IGG, nothing more.
