Crazy how this board has been up for about four years now. From GamerGate to Infinity Next to the Boston Salt Party, etc. we've been through some crazy shit. We've had our ups and downs, but we're still standing after four years. Which in itself is a miracle. We couldn't have done it without all of you.
I really just wanna say thank you to everyone for continuing to use /v/. I am truly blessed to have all of you faggots being here with us. Through the thicc and thin, through the fire and flames, we've all been together and I cannot be happier because of it. I'll admit I'm not perfect, I've fucked up here and there. But there's one thing I can say for certain, I am proud of what we've made here on /v/, and I hope to maintain it for as long as possible.
Don't let anyone tell you we're dying and that everything's going to shit. It's far from the truth, we can do anything as long as we believe. As long as we have the will, we can do anything. What we need is for both 8chan and 4chan to be destroyed and both communities consolidated on a fully decentralized board with subscription based moderation. Board creation is a neat idea but it doesn't solve the hotpocket problem. Nobody is going to constantly move whenever some faggot worms his way into power. You also have to considered that even if people did then the community would be split and suffer attrition for every exodus. It's one of the primary reasons why gamergate died here because it was constantly moving board and ended up in some faggy civil war.

It kind of feels like that imageboard magic is gone at times.
