I think it will be fine. There's no evidence this applies to anything other than VN and the censored adult VNs. It would make no sense since all their other games are still in the Steam store and have the exact same content. That's the sad thing about this though, as this was energizing the VN sector that's been slowly dying for the last few years. Steam was a poor choice for adult VNs because of all the normalfags that use it. I remember when normalniggers flipped out simply because all ages VNs and games like Neptunia were on Steam. They suggest was that a sequel to an already established franchise had content that the government now deems extremely inappropriate. Basically happy incest. I have a bit of a rant that's been brewing in my mind about censorship and where things are going. Polite safe for off topic. I don't have any evidence for this. However with the way privatized censorship is going and how it's being colluded by every company under the sun I have a hypothesis.

It seems to ne that the US platform holders plan to make uncensored anime games unprofitable to trick normal fags into voting censorship into law. Because we can make our own store front in the west if we want to. However PayPal and Stripe will blacklist us if we don't have communist terms of service and censorship policies in place. We can try to make our own payment processor, but then we'll probably have to make our own credit card company and bank as well because MasterCard controls PayPal.

As for going physical again it might be possible, if these censorship policies and terms of service changes don't also affect the operating systems. Sure for those with old copies of operating systems up to XP will most likely be safe, if the games can install on Windows XP. Linux is a minefield with distros ever since Linus cucked to ToS. And don't get me started on the cult of Apple, whom recently are banning titty games from iOS along with Google Play.

Privatized censorship is going deep. It's so deep that soon having anime titties on your computer is child porn and violates the ToS of you using that software. Soon the average consumer of these products will no longer be the west for they will be too poor to trade with.

Censorship is not only an ideological shift from capitalism to communism because China. It is an economical shift from writing ToS to conform to Chinese laws because say what you will about the Dao, it's the stockpile of minerals China has that they will use when fiat collapses. The US has Israel's petro, but what good is oil if you lack the steel and electronics to refine it efficiently?

The blacklisting of anime titty games is a political risk to western companies as they enter the global market. Everyone mocks Nintendo for censorship. The truth is they didn't start censoring until they hit the USA market and only in the west. However now that business has gone global and Japan has very little economic and military power they've latching on to tourism as a source of global income. The 2020 Olympics is coming. Because the communist gatekeepers has infiltrated Japanese business they believe the west are all a bunch of rainbow haired omnisex snowflakes or god hates faggots and porn Christians. TL;DR Globalism has wormed its way into Japan's and America's entertainment industries. Globalism is a dictatorship which favors key areas of the world to be wealthy while the rest of the world remain poor. Those key areas are China, Brussels, and Israel with US and Russia as world police states. Simply follow the money and you can see it's about control rather than competition.

Censorship is a symptom of a greater macroeconomic and political problem. Back in the day if the lord never caught you then you could indulge your degeneracy privately and face your judgement with god. I was thinking about this, and while it is very much what I do think they're going for at a base level, at the same time there is no feasible way to make this happen.

Case in point is the new RISCV architecture. It's literally a computer chip you can design and build yourself using an open-source toolkit. It was made because it makes things infinitely cheaper for IoC creators. It already has a linux distro developed for it. There is, at no point, a censorship or surveillance mechanism built-in unless you willingly install it at that point.

I think the technology to evade the censorship and spying has far outpaced the actual technology of the censorship and spying, and there are still enough Richard Stallman types out there who oppose it on principle to keep things free and open for a long time.

The biggest hurdle is going to be, in the future, finding ways to convince people to develop for these platforms instead of continuing to suck windick and open their assholes for the thing that's trying to destroy them.
