These guys are pretty awesome when they're busy not being lead by the nose by Inafundme. Blaster Master Zero and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon were really enjoyable.

Love Inticreates. Blaster Master Zero was great, and they actually managed to make a decent game out of Mediocre 5.9 with Mighty Gunvolt Burst. They're the reason MM9 and 10 were good and without them MM11 is shit.

I'd love to see Inticreates remake Zelda 2 or make a Zelda 2 sequel.

I'd like to see them take on Metroid, but with a spin-off that plays closer to their strengths. Something that focuses more on Samus's combat abilities, with tight action design and decent depth, and not what Mercury Steam did with Samus Returns.

Inafune has nothing to do with making anything. He designed a few enemies in a couple of the earlier games. That is all he did he did not design the games he did not design Rock. He was a grunt artist who moved to producing then nearly destroyed Capcom once he got into a position of power. He was the reason Clover got shut down and the reason why Capcom focused on making western games throught the PS3/360 generation.

Other M just needed to delete it's story and put some more meat into the combat and it would have been an interesting take on Metroid. It felt great flipping around and taking out a room of aliens in a minute at the end of the game. It was just too simple and the dodge timing was too forgiving.

He actually might have had a hand in it the game was announced in 2010 the same year he left the company. So it is absolutely a possibility he said DMC should be given to a western developer. His whole shtick once he got to his leading role was Japanese games are finished and they will never compete with the west again. So we should invest heavily in western developers to handle our IPs or make new ones. It was why Clover was shut down they were making very japanese games that were not selling phenomenally but were also cheap to produce. He wanted everything to be AAA western shit.

they are mediocre when not lead around by Inafune. MM9 and 10 were serviceable but not better than the real classic games or 11. Blaster Master Zero was ok but not great. Bloodstained was probably their best game but that was on ok compared to real classicvanias. Gunvolt as garbage. I mean they are competent and get the job done, but I hardly consider them "great". Inafune's Comcept had a hand in Gunvolt as well though it was him trying to make something like the MMX games. Not everything they make is going to be amazing. MM9 and 10 I think were as good as they could have been with the limitations they had to constrain to. The NES style megaman games were tired and exhausted in the NES times, it's why X was made.

Every classic game past 2 is progressively worse. Kids enjoyed the slide in 3, afterwards the series got less and less memorable and relevant.

I don't know about giving them a Metroid. ZX tried to include those elements and was pretty worse off for it.

I still like their sidescrollers though, looking forward to more Gunvolt/Copen games.

Only because they couldn't pull the exploration part doesn't mean it is a bad idea. Then again, I don't think the exploration part was bad. The open world was pretty comfy to explore, specially if you get model H early.

You just need minimal things to fix it like a better overall map, better enemy placement and better secrets.

ZX is about as good as Zero 4 in terms of controls, but god it's maps and objectives were fucking cancer. Doing rpg style fetch quests without a functional map or reliable fast travel systems? No thank you. Advent fucked it up with all the form bloat. Don't ever make me play as Buckfire ever again.

I'm not really denying that the maps and objectives are shit. They are fun to explore, though, and the thing with fetch quest and even villagers in the city were under used, same with tons of potential for the different model forms except in ZXA in which it was an actual problemfuck Buckfire and the goddamn bee.

Even if they don't fix the problems, I just want to know what happened in the end of ZXA and I want to play a similar game again.

What's wrong with 2? It increased the difficulty, added new skills for Gunvolt to use, separated tags from the guns so that more than 2 of them are worth using, has more bosses, finally lets you fight Zonda, and added Copen, who is much more fun to play as than Gunvolt.
