I have mere 180 hours on siege but I gotta say these devs are completely clueless when it comes to improving the game. Servers are laggy piece of shit and you can easily miss shots that clearly hit the enemy head on. When it comes to teammates most of the time you get underage retards who probably have never played any tactical games at all. They fail to even grasp the most basic things like "holding objective" and not overextending to death every single time.

Kapkan doesn't even have the same role anymore as Frost after his rework, his traps have a more similar role akin to Gu mines where they're meant to slow down rushers instead of outright ensnaring/killing a defender, so it's kind of meaningless to compare the two. Even if the enemy checks all doors for EDDs, by placing an EDD at the right side of a door and with some luck you can force an attacker to peek from a certain angle if they want to shoot out an EDD. Moreover, the main advantage of Kapkan over Lesion is his setup time, as Kapkan can place all 5 of his EDDs in prep phase and then go roaming about for the remainder of the round, whereas Lesion will only have two and a half Gu's ready at the end of prep phase and usually has to stick around the obj waiting for his Gu's to fill up so he can toss them about.

Sledge can break windows more safely by strafing away as he hits the window while doing so with a single swing, whereas Buck needs to shoot a window more than once with this Skeleton Key for it to break or has to stand really close within defender peeking range for his shots to even hit, since Buck shots create smaller holes than a Sledge swing. Moreover the hammer is more "ammo"-efficient when it comes to breaking things than Buck's Skeleton Key, since frequent use of the latter is prone to drying up your reserves for later while you don't have to be frugal with the hammer. Sledge's hammer is also safer than using breach charges since breach charges take time to set-up and can be heard by defenders when you place them on a wall, giving them an opportunity to shoot you through the wall just as you're placing the charge. Sledge can also destroy Evil Eyes with his hammer without it being a significant loss of resources as opposed to using a single Ash missile, a Zofia grenade, or valuable frag grenade to destroy one without having to deal with waiting for it to open its visor. Buck only really has more of an advantage in that his shotgun+assault rifle has a better opportunity for killing enemies behind wall and get the drop on them faster whereas you need to pull out your weapon first after a hammer swing with Sledge. Sledge is still the best op for breaching things, though Buck is more versatile.

There's still virtually every other gadget you can destroy with a Twitch drone, so I don't get your point. Moreover, Twitch drones can in fact lock down Evil Eyes. It takes around a second or so for an Evil Eye to open its visor before it can fire its lazor, and in that second a Twitch drone intently looking at the EE can zap and destroy it when its core is visible. No matter what an EE will always get shot before it can fire back at a Twitch drone looking at it, so you're always better off never opening a visor on an EE when a Twitch drone is looking at you. It also means that the Twitch drone can't do anything either, resulting in a mutual staredown, but then this'd be a rather rare situation.

Kaid and Nomad both got nerfed hard before leaving the TTS, so Kaid only has two claws (which in total can usually electrify up to four walls max) instead of three when people feared Bandit would be made redundant, which is about as equal to the amount of car batteries Bandit has. Claws can electrify hatches, but then Bandit also has C4 and is a 3speed, remaining relevant for his stats and ability to Bandit trick. Nomad also has mediocre guns, her gadget has nerfed to get a 1.5s arming time before it knocks people back instead of being instant, and when she's aiming to fire one while being unable to fire her primary weapon it shows a yellow tracer line to everyone which basically screams "come and peek my dumb ass".
Just looking at the win-rate delta of last season for Ranked on Platinum & Diamond levels you can't really conclude that there's a trend of newer operators continuing to get stronger over vanilla ops. Ash still gets picked more often and has a higher win rate than Zofia despite fears of Zofia making Ash redundant, the majority of attacking ops with a positive win rate are the vanilla ops, even the trio of global ability ops which everyone rightfully hated for being to ez to use and too powerful don't get that high of a pickrate. Twitch is still picked surprisingly often despite her nerfs. The one non-vanilla operator with the highest pickrate/win-delta is Lesion from Y2, who did receive a minor nerf last update. Alibi and Maestro are shown to be doing pretty good, though they aren't mainstay picks.
I'm not seeing this power creep at all.

The biggest offender right now is the bi-quarterly update schedule, making it take for fucking ever for any fixes or necessary patches to be implemented. Even if like with Ela some initial nerfs do get passed but don't turn out to be enough, you have to wait until the next fucking mid-season reinforcements or season for anything to get done. Even though you won't see a lot of these bugs of embed related in Casual, it's still embarrassing how often bugs are able to ruin matches in Ranked and fucking Pro League for everyone to see. Everyone is clamoring for Lion to get a rework, in the following year since his release he's only gotten a single nerf which didn't take away from having an 100% pickrate in pro leagues, which got so bad that they had to ban Lion from comp entirely. In Casual you don't feel the influence of Lion as much because barely anybody knows how to play Lion in Casual effectively, but with a dedicated team Lion becomes stupendously overpowered. BattleEye is an automated service that got completely fucked up, and started mass banning players, most of whom are innocent in regards to actual banworthy subjects. That's why it's so fast. There's a couple of fun ones from Overwatch as well where people get banned on stream, but I don't have that compilation. If I did, I'd upload it.
