All entertainment industries are in this kind of slump. Also, I do appreciate this remake being an actual remake instead of the usual HD remastered texture they were doing for a while. That means there is some effort put into it it. Would be great if they created a new game in the franchise but I guess they got to update everything before they even think about the next step since that yields more risk and I'm guessing the old people who made the original games aren't around.
I understand the nostalgia because this current decade will not be looked at positively in the future. Now we got so much nostalgia, were' suffocating on it's corpse that we want to see what's next in store because the present is bleak at the moment.
