Wait, it's 20$ now? I thought that it was 30 (yes, thirty) burgercoins, which is way too much. But besides that, atmosphere, music, visual effects are all top notch for what it is.

I never thought about it that way, but forces of nature in From Dust were pretty scary. The best moments were when mere seconds make the difference between a village's survival and death by fire, water or lava.

>nazi germany, crimson banners and all
I wish it was nazi Germany, but it's more like communist Russia. The first time I advanced that law tree all the way, until the surveillance, executions and other scummy shit, I realised what way this is going and I went immediately fuck that, this isn't what I signed for, party's over and I'm going home. On the next playthrough I save-scummed and used my knowledge from the first playthrough, so I got the "you didn't cross the line" ending (it's fucking ridiculous that the game treats having GUARDS as something bad).

Child shelters lead to hospital/workshop helpers, so this is an actual trade off. I typically go for child shelters, simply because I'm starved for inventions later on.
Cemetery vs pit choice is kind of stupid, since if you're bad you need pit more, for organs, but if you're good cemetery is a better choice.
>Automatons vs. Steam-core Facilities
Both, anon. You need to save just a couple of cores for hothouses, coal mines and hospitals. If you have that, just make as many automatons as possible. You can dismantle them later, if you need cores, so who cares?

Cool. How is it? Does it have random events/locations outside your city?
