Banner Saga. Snow makes it comfy and replaying it is like picking up a good book with some strategy RPG paced just right in between

Ghost Trick seems to take place close to Christmas, going off Lynne's apartment decorations. Though either it's somewhere that doesn't get snow, or she's lazy and leaves them up all year round.
Might replay the original Spyro around Christmas since it's my go-to for comfy, but I've got plenty of other games to play for the first time to the point I don't replay much these days, and tend to save such for burnout cure.

I hope you mean regular PS1 games, and not the fucking shitty emubox.

Would actually have a better chance of getting the bulk of must-plays on it in the same package, compared to the PS1 classic.

Can't let a December go by without playing Tyrian. I played the Grinch game for Gameboy Color last year, it was surprisingly good. It came out alongside the shitty live action movie, but it uses the designs of the original animated movie.

Snatcher. I never really understood why people liked VNs untill I played the Sega CD version on an emulator a few years back. Man, it was one hell of a ride but a fun one. I really haven't played any other VNs, but I can understand why people like them to an extent.

The Gamecube/PC version of Sonic R. Just set the weather to snow and sing the entire soundtrack to your heart's content. There's also Elebits for the Wii, which has an extremely comfy soundtrack, and some festive levels towards the end.
And at some point I need to learn how to rip Dreamcast games, because as far as I know, nobody has done so for Toy Commander: Christmas Surprise. It was a special Christmas themed demo for Toy Commander that was included in one of the Official Dreamcast Magazine demo discs. The demo had you playing as a toy Santa wearing a jetpack, a toy biplane, and a heavily armed toy jeep, on a mission to collect the presents hidden around the house, and place them under the tree.

Good idea, I keep forgetting you can force the weather. I don't supposed you've tried getting network play on the PC version to work? I tried netplay on Dolphin with somebody and his ping (it jumped around, got up to 250ms i think) really fucked it up.

Also the devs seem pretty chill and actually respond to emails from players.
