It pretty clearly says バーディ, meaning "Birdie".

The thing with 52 next to it is Birdie Badges. The game keeps a list of what holes you got a birdie or better on. It's buried somewhere in the options.

While we're on this topic, how difficult is it to get the GBA link working on an emulator? Can you emulate Toadstool Tour and Advance Tour on the same machine at the same time and link them together?

While I was meh on their official renders, Mario Golf: Toadstool had the best rendition of the Mario cast models in-game for the longest time during the Gamecube and Wii era. It took ages for those models to be topped.

I wished they were ripped.
