Seems like it's going to be Ultimate General but on water, you can customize ship and build your fleet.

You can't freely move the units in the global map like you do in the tactical map.

Darth is such an autistic faggot. I wish he tried to create good graphics for this games. Ultimate General ultimately fails to capture the player due to it's bland art style. I am not saying he needs to compete with TW graphics, but his games don't even reach indie pixel level which kills a lot of immersion and engagement.

The soldiers look fucking retarded moving on the terrain, the unit sizes aren't accurate representations and corpse piles look just silly. There certainly is some charm to it, but the graphics are fucking basic and he doesn't ever bother to accurately represent units sizes. Might as well use counters with strength/organisation/morale bars at that point.

Agree on the unit size, but again, it's much bigger than regular Total War, and there's no corpse piles in the game.

You know that's bullshit you nigger. You can represent proportionally, the accurate to soldier detail is how Total War battles become progressive smaller in scale.

The walking animations are very 2D while the terrain is 2.5D which makes it seem like the soldiers are floating along the path while playing their walk animation which is actually what's happening instead of looking like military units marching and of course there are corpses after fighting. They stick out like sore thumbs.

Wish the modern Total War has been less busy looking and been as bright and shiny.

Meanwhile, in comparison, Napoleon Total War looks WORSE when they zoom out, and it's one of prettiest TW game.

OK, dude, whatever you say, but of all of the complaints about UG:CW, graphic is not one of it.

Some "proper complains" would be the game does not have a proper RISK map and that cavalry moves so goddamn slow (this can be fixed with mods).

But the graphics? Perfectly serviceable for a war game.

And come on, a max size bridge of UG:CW is 2500 units, and the game is already big as it is.

An army in Total War is max around 5000 to 9000, so a division in UG is already a Total War army, and a corp has 04 divisions, so yeah, it's fucking massive.

Though to be fair, if Darth indeed makes TW equivalent, I wonder if he will still keep his army - corp - division - brigade system. That would truly mean multiple massive armies.
