The multiplayer is long dead, but the singleplayer campaign is actually really fun (the magic Arabs are the second out of the three campaigns you play, first being steampunk medieval Europeans and third being Ancient Aliens + Aztecs).

I guess it's worth mentioning that the Sims 3 had an expansion pack called World Adventures, which added three locations to go on vacation to. One of the areas was called Al Simhara and was Egypt inspired, so it had a lot of pyramids and ancient temples to explore and treasures to collect. I consider it to be less interesting or fun than the Champs Les Sims (France inspired) or Shang Simla (China inspired), but it was pretty neat to explore.

The Egyptian stage of Secret of Evermore is extremely comfy, along with the other stages in Antiqua. Fun fact, the guy that made music for Oblivion made the music for Secret of Evermore. I don't know how comfy it is as Ravenloft module is designed to be hellish but I enjoyed it, nice mix of party members to recruit, and there's lots of exploring and learning about old shit so I guess that's comfy in an archaeology way
I like that it treats the main villains as so powerful you have no hope of becoming strong enough to challenge them, you just have to figure out how to gtfo… but that's also par for the course for Ravenloft
