Pretty much, 6th Gen was the last actually good one, 7th had a slow start but one that was filled with potential until the fucking crisis happened, now we've got two locked down PCs and a fucking Tegra tablet not much different from mobile.

On steam and I believe in retail stores prices are lower from the ones in the eu or online stores. And there is also a big market for used games/consoles and piracy. In one of my previous jobs, I was once assigned to work with a contractor for a few weeks where I was under supervision of a guy who acted and talked exactly like this Russian Nintendo pajeet. And he wasn't even a pajeet, mudslime or jew, he was white. I could only stand him for 3 days. At the end of the third day I went to my company office and said to my boss that I wouldn't go back there a single day anymore, not even tomorrow, and if he had a problem with it I'd bring my resignation letter the next day. Good thing I did this too, because about 1 hour later the asshole called the office and said to my boss he didn't want me back there anymore, because I didn't put up with his bullshit and had already argued with him a few times. (among the stuff he did, he would several times come to me and say in a threatening and irritated tone that if I did any screwup that caused his company to lose money, he'd sue us).
Anyways, I didn't get fired and since there wasn't anyone else available, my boss himself took the job. He could only stand the guy for a week and then just stopped going. I was there the last time they talked on the phone, they ended in a shouting match and my boss slammed the phone on him.
I also often wonder how these assholes got were they are and how they manage to get any shit done without alienating everyone like this guy did with me and my boss. For the first part at least, I think nepotism probably plays a big part in most cases.
