Considering the state of the industry, and the observable trends, gaming will turn even more profit-focused until it oversaturates and crashes. I’m not saying it’ll happen soon, but it will.

At that point, what I hope will happen is that gaming will turn back into a niche, with enthusiats making games they love, and people supporting their creators directly. In this case, indies would become the industry, but that scenario entirely depends on capable people getting involved with game development, not hacks who can’t code shit scamming people on crowdfunding platforms.

We need decent people to start coding, and I fear the SJW takeover of computer science will prevent non-soy eating, pozzed cucks from actually learning shit.

Dark times are ahead. Better protect your backlogs: soon they’ll be all that’s left.

I am personally finding and secretly feeding mercury everyone I know who makes games. We'll see how well that pays off in ~5 years.

Also: make a good game, don’t get greedy and don’t be a faggot, and people will come to you.

If you go into game developing expecting to get rich out of it you’ll waste your life.
