Okay, here is a topic that some anons might find interesting. Over 10 years ago a game was released called UB Funkeys. This game was exclusively for PC and basically proto-skylanders type game written in flash.
Over the years since the game's cancellation, fans have made some serious progress in getting the game to function after its abandonment. There have also been attempts to create remakes and new fangames but they don't get very far.
To play, you need(ed) the USB hub pictured above, and the magnetic Funkey vinyl figures that it reads. However, there have been such strides in the community that the game can be played without a hub, using all Funkeys available.
This link has all the materials you need to set up the game. The UB Funkeys subreddit (really the only thing reddit is good for is ridiculously obscure shit like this) has some other tools, for getting it to work without a hub, unlocking all microtransactions, and maybe even running on (((Windows 10))).

The main thing interesting about this game that keeps me interested today is the artstyle. The game itself is pretty low quality, but the Funkey characters themselves have very fun designs. The artist who worked on the world maps was also very talented.
