IIRC, they made a tunnel branch one time in a beta demo. One branch pushed on ahead. One circled back around and put you back on the same path. A retarded beta tester accidentally kept taking the same branch over and over and looping back around for like an hour before they finally told him to take the other branch. This is why all maps are linear in games now. They must code for the stupidest unimaginative people possible. Otherwise the game will be too "hard" and "confusing"
