SWF means a premade. The game is usually a killer vs 4 randos but sometimes you get the 'tacticool' team that are going in to fuck the killer up intentionally with the benefit of shit like voice over communication. It makes for more annoying matches but the trade off is so much more salt when you beat them fair and square.
Of course to survivor mains 'fair and square' translates to 'you cheat cheese fuck, you are meant to let some survive, let the last take hatch, never camp, never juggle -muh shoulder stab free escape perk- and basically you are a cheese fuck'

That's exactly what rank is supposed to be. Play well, gain rank. Play poorly, lose rank. They just don't know how to do it properly. It's incredibly easy to derank if that's your goal. On the other hand, I can't seem to stop gaining ranks. I've had so many games lately where I think I played like shit, but still ended with +1 pip. I bet the only thing this new system will do is increase queue time between games.

That's the beauty of running Monitor and Abuse on him with that add on that keeps you on tier 1 but gives you wallhacks, you can't be heard nor seen through walls, but you can hear AND see them through walls. Probably the only killer that can actually frighten survivors and make them paranoid that you can show up from any corner since he also doesn't have a red flashlight stuck to his face.
As long as it isn't 80% of the open space maps and they can actually see you from miles away walking slowly towards them because Tier 1.

DBD seems to have got a lot of overlap with left 4 dead, which was both an inspiration to the game and on pc even has Bill from L4D as a survivor, with him 'dying' turning on the generator in The Passage in L4D and waking up by a generator in the entities woods in DBD. Women loved L4D so i dont see why they wouldn't like this. They can't all gravitate to zelda i guess.

After seeing people mess around with Legion, this seems like the "survivor" killer that was talked about, how it can vault pallets, how it can sprint like many survivor perks giving speed boosts, how it provides a reverse Borrowed Time by giving bleed out timers when it does its fury attack. It's slower than the normal killers but that frenzy speedboost feels very fast.
A few things I noticed.
Its bleed out timer pauses when getting mended even if they don't manage to finish it, and during the chase.
Mending the bleed does not trigger A Nurse's Calling
Its frenzy attack doesn't count for regular hits for things like Save The Best for Last
I don't know if Sloppy Butcher's Mangle works with the frenzy bleed out.
Its perks don't look that interesting.

This has nothing to do with it. The whole "survivor killer thing" was because they introduced some story during the halloween event. Basicly one of the suvivors, whos mentioned in some of the flavour texts of items, fucked around with the ancient evil juice and injected it into himself. People were thinking that he would be the next killer.

Not yet, but I've watched some streams where people tried all kinds of builds with them. It's pretty much impossible to play the new killer right now unless you have 4 other people who will do kill your friends with you.
Overall I think that the new killer is certainly interesting, but theres many situations where his power is more of a liability than a tool to kill people. Chases look super fun with them though. I'd say that they are decent, but not terribly overpowered.

I think in terms of aestethics they kind of clash with the "ancient evil" theme of the game. It's pretty modern and reminds me of this symbol. But I guess that's kinda fitting when you look at their lore. It's pretty interesting that they are multiple people, but I wish that this fact had some kind of impact on the gameplay. I suppose that they wanted to make a killer that would fit into our present times, and they did a pretty good job with that. Unsatisfied,violent teenagers are good representation of how low a human being can fall.

Is anyone else annoyed by the concept alone of the new killer? I don't understand the point. The 'gimmick' of this character is that there's not one killer, but four of them. But you only play as one. So what's the point? There's four of them in the promotional artwork. Their name is Legion. But you don't play as a legion. You play as a single person. And this single person, is just that, a person. Not a scary ghost, not a stalking mutant, not a snooze demon that terrorizes dreams, not a crazed psychopath, it's a person in a hoodie. That bothers me because there could have been some really curveball game mechanic about their being four killers on the map. Maybe you can only move one at a time and have to position them on the map some some sort of RTS, maybe they all move as a group and yell obscenities. Something that's not just person in a hoodie who's character trait is running faster than other killers.
I wouldn't mind it at all if their name wasn't The Legion. If it was The Sprinter and he was a madman who murders people with a gold medal he got in high school that he swings around like a flail. Why bother with the whole 'There's four of them' if it doesn't matter at all?
What does The Trapper do? Sets traps. What does the Nightmare do? Something to do with sleeping, of course! What does The Huntress do? Absolutely something involving hunting. The Legion is not a legion and briskly jogs and jumps over things.
