So i borrowed my brothers Xbone because i had a hankering to replay Halo ODST, mostly because of that soundtrack which is fucking majestic as fug, but after beating it i took a look at his none throwback games and game them all a try.
and all but one was trash. Gears 4 is "it happened again" and a shallow brand exercise, Halo 5 is a burning trash fire of focus tested, designed by committee shit i would call the FFXV of shooters and stuff like state of decay 2 felt like early access games.
Shockingly the one xbone exclusive i tried that i would say is the same 'must buy' kind of thing as Mario Odyssey or Bloodborne or something was of all things fucking Forza Horizon 4. Granted i dont usually like racing games because going around a track feels constricted to the point it feels like you need actual autism to enjoy most racing games. But driving around an autumnal bongland countryside, smashing through walls, tearing up rich toff looking house lawns and driving down high streets basically going on a fantasy power trip around the country was a genuine fun time.
But i gotta ask you in the closet xbone using anons: Is this it? is the 'muh forza' meme such powerful chaos magic that this is literally the only game the entire system has that can be considered a feature complete high quality product?
Because this console is like 5 years old now and thats one game. One.
