For me it would be the collectable beans in Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone on the PC. They looked so fucking tasty that they've burned into my mind as one of the comfiest things about the game. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good screenshot picturing them.

I generally do not eat food while playing vidya because I don't want to get crumbs all over my shit. However, I will have a couple shots of vodka before playing CS:GO or any modern multiplayer game because modern multiplayer games are only enjoyable while intoxicated on ethanol stimulating GABA receptors in my brain

Same here. Now pre-game meals can influence your performance, motivation, and focus. I find that on tough as nails games I rather eat a fresh salad and fruit over grains and meat because I don't want to feel too content and sleepy. I need to stay alert during the game. So I make myself feel half hungry. On easy RPGs with cooking systems those games make me crave foods because they look so good. I'm transitioning away from those slowly.

Sometimes just straight alcohol actually helps me focus, it slows everything down for me and improves my aiming or maybe I'm just too drunk to realize I'm actually playing like shit

Maybe it's based on person to person. You should try mastering the drunken fist, it's a legit fighting style that only a chosen few who can focus while intoxicated can master. Anyway for me I drink one cup of dark roast coffee straight black midday as a pick me up drink. I never did like sugar and cream in my coffee.

Odin Sphere, or by that extent pretty much all Vanillaware games.
Fucking food is the best thing they can draw after hot waifus.
There's like a fuckton of dishes in that game and all have 2 drawn frames, one freshly served and one half-eaten.
As you spend quite some time eating during a playthrough, because it's your main way of leveling up, I just started to always have fingerfood at my disposal, like chicken nuggers.
Best rule: If you eat in the game you eat in real life. Otherwise you metaphorically die of starvation from watching your characters eat all that tasty shit.

There was an idea for a Dungeon Meshi type game a while back. But I think that concept manifested as Little Dragon's Cafe. Still I want a game about foraging and hunting monsters and cooking them. Maybe Battle Chef Brigade has a concept like that, but it's less about your ingredientsand more about mish mashing genres.
