alright this is probably gay as hell, but i'm trying to set up a soundboard to shoot off soundbites from specific video game characters while in a multiplayer game. i'm wondering if anyone might know of a way to set a single keybind to play from a list of sound files at random. this way i could have like 4 buttons, one for taunts, one for assistance, one for picking up a weapon, and one for cheering. each one could have a pool of like 5 or so different sounds they could play.
i'm using resanance right now which is nice and convenient for sending stuff through the microphone, but i doesnt seem to support this feature natively. was wondering if there might be a way to tell resanance to just use one file name for the keybind, but have that filename cycle over the files in the directory, in other words everytime the file is selected (or maybe have it cycle every 10 seconds) it would change the name of that file back to its original, then pick another to rename to the designated filename. while i wait for possible replies i'll be trying to use steam's controller bindings to cycle through keybinds on
