Somewhat recent news about a policy change made by Triumph's owners over data collection made me think back to this game. What even was the appeal? I feel like I was missing something way back when I tried it because it clearly wasn't trying to be a successor to the original Age of Wonders of Master of Magic. How did it compare to 4x games that were out at the time?
