I don't know if it's more difficult depending on the country you live in, but I've never had any problem finding old roms and isos unless it was really niche.
I mean, between torrent trackers, regular sites, various dumps on forums and boards, and apparently even onion sites, there's always going to be a place.
This particular site seems really nice. No bullshit design, no community or sharing cancer, no pushing their own crapware … I'll definitly use it if it becomes bigger. Downloading armored core atm.

Undubs are one thing, both components are fairly sizable, but applying a translation is literally as simple as opening a patcher, selecting two files and hitting run. This shit keeps old ass versions of hacks in circulation long after they've been obsolete.

Redump and No-Intro are dump groups that focus on multiverified clean sets. Back in the 90s and 00s, ROMs and ISOs were dumped without care for integrity or preservation, resulting in shitloads of games with extra irrelevant data, missing data, total data corruption, hacked-in intros, emulator-specific behavior hacks, non-system headers, and other bullshit.
No-Intro is pretty much the best when it comes to cartridge games, and Redump is probably #2 for disc games. The best disc group is Trurip, but their sets are harder to find.

But if it actually expects you to apply 80 patches, it's flaming retarded if it doesn't have an automatic patcher.
