What i think eve nailed is the space sim. It feels like what I imagine it would be like if humans actually went to space and had empires and shut. With the whole people not actually dying thing all consequences are largely removed and no other game captures raw human nature quite like this.
Humans are pretty shitty without the bonds of clan or the threat of government, so yeah. However i like space, and it is comfy as fuck to fly around in a little explorer vessel and open canisters, in absolute solitude, while slamming the dscan button until the key breaks to make sure you are actually alone.
Show me a game with such pulse pounding boredom.
If you are really trying to get with griefing you need to read a guide. I'd suggest signing up with a griefing Corp, or people are going to laugh at your inept attempts while you get Concord blapped.
Know this though. The only people you'll successfully kill are mentally retarded, brand new or afk. If you really get off on drinking the tears of mental deficients or nubs, have at it. You'll find plenty of friends.
