I configured it fine, it's just the way Gmod is, besides you load in like 2x faster if you just press "subscribe all" versus waiting for it to all manually download.

there's this amazing thing called workshop.lua, even the worst underage darkrp server owners can comprehend this and have it set up correctly when you're too dumb to even do that

Alright I fixed it. I didn't realize you needed to force the players to download the addons. I put the workshop collection into my launcher script and thought that did the trick by itself. Oh well, you live and learn.

I used to get up at like 3 am and smoke bowls when I was 16 and zone out for 6 or so hours making really precise wire shops and shit for gay DarkRP servers so I could dupe them later and see how they perform and then make alterations to the design. Unironically one of my fondest gaming memories
