I'm in a mood for something comfy but as it is with the halloween spirit, I also need to have something spooky as well not to break the pleasant mood. Is there a dark/spooky-themed can be comedic game with aesthetic in darker colors that is both slow and slightly calm as well as being generally spooky? I actually don't like horror games much. Either they are not spooky or interesting and I find the micromanagement of items tedious (i.e. Silent Hill and resident evil). Or they are Nerve-racking jumpscare meme games that don't really have any gameplay (Five night at Freddy's etc.). There are exceptions to these general categories but generally, I just don't see the appeal. If I want horror I am more comfy with campy 80's movies like In the Mouth of Madness, Event Horizon or Evil Dead 2.

Yes very comfy, especially as we proceed further into the story. I really enjoyed those comfy parts in the apartment at that point….
I will recommend Deadly Premonition and Alan Wake. DP is a life-sim murder-investigation horror story basically. It's set in a comfy little town in the woods with whacky characters and just an overall good feel to the game. Alan Wake is the same in the tone but much more linear.
