The dev kit in question here is a $1000 paperweight. There's no hard drive, no CPU source code, no unreleased alpha/betas, nothing. It's a retail Gamecube that runs unsigned code and nothing more, which is essentially useless because the Wii/Dolphin does exactly that for free. The only reason I can think of to buy this is to play the extremely rare development cartridges (which is where the unfinished games are) that only play on these systems, but even then, there's easier ways to extract the data off of those. These dev kits have absolutely no use to anyone except collectors.
If you're looking for the source code of these games, you're not gonna find it on the carts or the dev kits.

Personally, I go to an atelier and the painter running it helps me out a lot.
Progress is always possible, but you really need a master or at least someone a lot better than you are to guide you if you want to get anywhere within an acceptable time frame.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing important to emulation to be gained from this particular unit, and they're hard to use for actually playing games, because they require additional rare and expensive hardware. I think you are a bit confused, anon. Even if they wanted it's not like they can copy paste the code and expect it to work in the emulator, it just won't. The point of having the source code is that you actually know what's going on, emulators mimic what they THINK the console is doing, but a wrong assumption might mean that you end up with some games working but not all, because what you implemented isn't quite the same as what the console does, if you know what it does then you can implement it. So the source code wouldn't be to copy and paste, it would be to understand what it's actually doing and try and implement it I mean, I guess they could get in trouble if its known they are using unathorized code as the base, but how are they going to PROVE that?
