Part of it is that with age, there's less time to find new fun games. A bigger part I think, though, is that I have rompacks of old consoles on my harddrive that collectively take up less space than an average modern game. Red Dead is 150 gigs. I can store every Nintendo console game before the gamecube in that much with room to spare. You can easily look through a few games for five minutes at a time like that. Can't do that with modern games.

Skyrim is a pretty bad game. I think I played it for a week back in 2011 when it came out, for around 100 hours. Since that week I have had no desire to play the game, because I feel as if I played all I needed to play and was not emotionally attached to any of it.
Morrowind on the other hand, if it wasn't for its combat I would probably play it again. Very good game, very memorable and has the actual depth and attention to detail that newer games lack.
