Which game in the series is considered the best and which has the most replay value? Been looking for a good puzzle game to take on the go with me and I’ve heard a lot of good things about this series.

Don't worry about which is the best one. Go with the first one (Curious Village), and play them in the order they were released.

None have replay value. It's no fun solving a puzzle you've already solved. But just play them all in order as has already been said. If you like one you'll like them all.
