I forgot to re-enter the subject because the Captcha was broken. I'm also looking forward to Sakuna, the developer is putting a lot of work into every little detail and it looks like one of the most technical combat systems around.

I got back into working on my own game after a week and a half long break, can't wait until it gets to a playable state.

As for the game you posted, OP, it looks cute, though that music is bland as hell.

That overworld gameplay looks interesting, definitely has potential. Though, I hope those sounds are WIP because the cartoony bounce when she hits the ground doesn't fit very well at all. Change it with the sound of paper rustling or crinkling, anything but that bounce.

I'm a little worried now that they turned it into a 3d platformer/action game. Seems like they had it looking pretty good when it was 2d, but changing everything around seems like a risk.

Well, I guess we know which entry they deigned most inspirational. Also not a fan of how they've got the top meters, especially the PP; I get what they're going for, but overlapping elements need either enough blank space or an outline to pop right.

None at the moment. Sony killed my interest in the last game left I was interested in this year, I'm worried about ToV's remaster due to the aforementioned as well (though the PS3 fan-translation is still floating around, despite the team's attempts at "plz stop"), and MWC got delayed (and is apparently set to be digital only with limited only physicals). Not like my backlog isn't fuckhueg already, which is admittedly how I like it. Better to have plenty of good older games to continue enjoying for the first time.

I know this is shilling but I'm actually interested in OP's game now. That looks cute as all heck.

Somewhat related, how is Underhero? I heard about it watching some Paper Mario Color Splash critique video and they said it was closer to Paper Mario than Color Splash is, but I'm still wary.

The combat at the end is still 2d. I think it's just 3d movement in the hub area.
