Lay the groundwork for plot and leave the results of it up to the players and then build off that, or have it foreshadow and build up to the arc you have in mind all while goading on the heroes. The most difficult part of this game is making a satisfying arc thats fun gameplay wise and still has some semblance of a narrative to it so you actually have a reason to be fighting other than "hurr my name Crunch I like to punch."

Raiden was the only one who gathered evidence and ARMSTRONG got snitched on by one of his minions.
The evidence hunt was planned as a thing for the whole server population, and as such, I created rules for base building so evidence could only be hidden in ways where a key could be accessed without blasting down walls or trying your luck with a door hacker. Some noteworthy attempts were a maze on Ice, a couple of statues for a password puzzle on Arconia, and a Majin dropping a key to her base if she lost a fight.

ATTENTION ALL CRACKERS
I, Blood Cell, have created the Blood Cell Games, home of Battle Ball, the ultimate combat sport.
The rules of B-Ball are as follows:
1. 3v3 in the court, no more, no less!
Each team can field three members and thus must have at least five members to compete. Should you be used by the enemy team to score, go into reserve and swap places with one of your team's benched players.
2. No Ki Attack, No Flying, No Powering Up, No Auto Attack, No Grabbing, No Items
Only manual melee attacks with knockback on. Everything else is for gay niggas. You can also use heal on your KO'd boys, since it'll put you at risk as well. Items are banned for obvious reasons.
3. Rounds Last Until A Point Is Scored
4. Score Points by Launching KO'd Rival Players Into The Score Rectangle Opposite Your Starting Position.
All players begin lined up in the center of the court and swap sides of the court each round. Launch a KO'd enemy into the rectangle on their side of the court to score a point.
First team to hit 6 points wins. Game on, crackers.
I'll probably adjust, expand, or specify the rules more if we manage to get some matches in.
