>it seems that the next generation aren't using image boards
I wholeheartedly disagree. I don't know the demographic statistics of this site, but I'd wager that a large portion of the population of users are in the 13 - 30 age range, which definitely constitutes the next generation.
>the number [of users is] at an ever decreasing rate
Is there any evidence to support this? Don't user statistics constantly fluctuate? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to look at long term average rates for future predictions?
>It's not just statistics or bullshit like that, but rather the worth of anonymity in general.
>Nobody seems to care about free speech anymore, or even the Idea of an anonymous community. Everything seems to be about individual rather than the idea and that alone is cause for concern. Like someone who is an attention whore in the past will now be seen as celebrity among the kids, and that alone fucking terrifying.
I agree with this sentiment, the idea that anonymity is not valued or even chastised by normalfags and the media, but you haven't really addressed this point in your post beyond these initial statements. What do you think is the source of this disregard of anonymity? What can be done about it? As the internet becomes increasingly populated with children, attention whores, and retards, it's only natural that some portion of its population will clamor to be the next big thing, which in turn will diminish the value of anonymity as a concept, given that everyone will be caught in the midst of an attention whoring arms race.

>We need new features and polish to the website
The only thing I care about at this point in time is a constant remind of the limit on file sizes. I know in the post options it says 16MB but that's not specific enough, I want to know the exact limit right down to the number of bytes, because often times your 16MB file will be just a hair too large for the cap, and I'm too fucking lazy to write down the exact number again. It'd just be nice to have a specific reminder somewhere.

>Imagine if you could go to /v/ and just add other vidya boards to the catalog instead of browsing some shitty overboard thing. Then you could favorite that combination instead of individual boards. What if you had some kind of sidebar where you could instantly switch between boards/threads without having to reload the page, and it shows live notifications when someone posts and the posts appear in realtime instead of by some shitty reload system.
It sounds like a good idea, but on the contrary, isn't it relatively easy to just have more than one tab open in your browser? It only takes a second to switch boards if you keep different boards open in different tabs. Why would you want to integrate similar boards into one large "custom" catalog? Isn't the point of a separate board to distinguish that board from others like it? Wouldn't this be in direct opposition of that goal?
Sage for off topic.
